President Trump is once again proving to Democrats he is willing to be the bigger man, just by signing a new bill.

The bill called the Government Employee Fair Treatment Act, guarantees that furloughed government workers will receive back pay “at the earliest date possible” once the shutdown ends.

The bill promises compensation for “wages lost, work performed, or leave used,” and will go into effect immediately following the reopening of the government. Speeding relief to the workforce rather than making them wait for the next scheduled pay date.

Yet this is only a small reassurance as nearly 800,000 federal employees continue to work without pay or are forced into unpaid furlough.

Democrats continue to prolong the shutdown as they continuously refuse to offer any funding for President Trump’s wall.
