Tens of thousands of Haitian migrants are crossing the Southern border, and many commentators are blaming the Biden Administration’s lax border policies. During Trump’s first term, the Remain in Mexico policy required asylum seekers in the U.S. to return to Mexico. Under the Biden Administration, the policy was dropped.
Donald Trump recently weighed in, saying:
“ The largest number of illegal aliens in the history of our Country are pouring in by the millions. They are totally unchecked and unvetted, can do whatever they want, and go wherever they want”.
He also added:
“ Our Country is rapidly becoming a cesspool of humanity. Murderers, drug dealers, and criminals of all shapes and sizes are a big part of this massive migration .”
