Footage taken at the 73rd Emmy Awards in Los Angeles revealed that celebrities were free to be unmasked. No celebrities were observed wearing masks, suggesting they were completely exempt from the rules that the rest of us have to follow.
Not only that, the hired staff helping at the event were all wearing masks, suggesting they had been instructed to do so. For some, that’s an indication of hypocrisy. Many celebrities are keen to encourage people to wear masks and follow rules relating to COVID-19, yet they don’t seem to do it themselves.
