Nancy Pelosi is one of the oldest people ever to have held the office of Speaker of the House of Representatives and has been in the job numerous times since 2007. Before that, she served as House Minority Leader from 2003-07 and again from 2007-11.
She hinted that she won’t be seeking the Speakership again, but it’s not known if she’ll stick to that. Eventually, she’ll have to retire, but so far she’s been in Congress uninterrupted since 1987.
Some think she’ll have to step down sooner or later, and the 2022 mid-terms are a prime opportunity. Others think she’s desperate to stay relevant. Do you think Pelosi will retire next year?
