Joe Biden’s DHS has announced that it will use funds previously assigned to building Trump’s border wall to close gaps that exist in the wall currently. However, there are no plans to continue building the wall, which Biden stopped the construction of upon entering office on January 20th.
His decision to stop construction on the border wall meant that large piles of unused fencing were left in stacks near the border. Some have suggested that a better use of the funds would be to keep building the wall.
