Behind the Poll:

The Education Secretary under Ronald Reagan, William J. Bennett, has joined an initiative to combat “an anti-American ideology that radically misrepresents U.S. history”. 

The alternative curriculum he’s endorsed is called The Story of America and focuses on history and civics. Its goal is to tell the truth and give students the whole picture. 

Many conservatives think it’s the perfect antidote to the New York Times’s 1619 Project, and other progressive educational agendas. Others think teaching American greatness is inappropriate. What’s your view?
