Democrats in the state of Oregon have moved to grant themselves the power to make indoor mask mandates permanent until the COVID pandemic is over. Oregon is one of only six states where indoor mask mandates are still active.
With the rule imposing indoor mask mandates due to expire in February, Democrats want to make it permanent. One possible reason for this was revealed in a comment from Paloma Sparks of the Oregon Business & Industry Association, who said, “getting people to comply is getting harder.”
