Behind the Poll:
The Department of Justice recently jailed a Texan man for posting jokes on Facebook about spreading COVID-19 through getting a friend with COVID to lick food.
Despite it being made clear he was joking and that nobody was harmed in the joke, the FBI’s Terrorism Taskforce and Weapons of Mass Destruction personnel investigated the matter and chose to prosecute the man.
He was fined $1,000 and given a 15-month prison sentence. Should this kind of behavior get someone jailed?
