This guy is a thorn in America’s side!
Recently on MSNBC’s “The Last Word,” House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) called President Trump’s coronavirus speech a “kind of a crazy quilt,” and even resorted to labeling his travel ban as crazy.
According to Breitbart, Schiff stated, “There were a lot of things I wish I’d heard in the president’s speech today and some that I did hear that really concerned me. Because when you have a major health crisis like this, incompetence kills. Incompetence kills. And the response thus-far from the administration has been, unfortunately, plagued with incompetence. And in particular, not getting those tests out there quickly so we can see who is infected, where they were infected, what steps could be taken to really mitigate the spread of this virus, and we now are in the position of trying to make up for lost time that we will never get back.”
He then said that making sure workers who stay home if they are sick and are taken care of financially “was the only thing, or one of the few things that made sense to me in what the president had to say.” And that the speech was “kind of a crazy quilt, no more crazy than the travel ban, which applies to certain countries, but not others. It applies to countries where there’s less of a problem in Europe, but not where there’s more of a problem elsewhere, like in South Korea.” You can watch a clip of Schiff’s comments here.
