In a surprising move, ABC’s “The View” co-host Meghan McCain called Bernie Sanders supporters the “dirtiest thugs” online.
According to the Washington Examiner, McCain began by denouncing Sanders’s socialist views saying, “I think you’re indicative of a lot of the American public though, and I do think when you’re talking about Bernie Sanders completely remaking and reanimating not just our healthcare system but the United States of America as it has existed since its incarnation, people get very nervous right now.”
“I stand by the fact that [Super Tuesday] is going to be a cage match. This is his Alamo. This is his absolute last chance to become president. Him and his supporters are the dirtiest thugs I have ever seen on all of social media,” McCain stated. “They are not going to let this go. They’re not going to let it go out easy.”
