According to Fox News, Ilhan Omar is under fire after blasting conservative media for reporting the race of the Boulder, CO mass shooter since he is an ethnic minority, despite having previously demonized the Atlanta spa shooter for being white.
“The shooter’s race or ethnicity seems front and center when they aren’t white,” she tweeted. “Otherwise, it’s just a mentally ill young man having a bad day.”
Omar’s tone was completely different when discussing the white Atlanta shooter.
“It isn’t hard to understand why it’s so normalized for law enforcement to protect the humanity of white mass murderers and their willingness to continually make excuses them,” she tweeted at the time.
