Behind the Poll:
On August 18, 2021, The National Pulse published the stunning results of a Rasmussen poll. They summarized the results thusly: “Stunning new poll numbers from Rasmussen Reports suggest nearly 1 in 10 Democrats regret their vote in the 2020 Presidential election, with 12 percent of ‘Moderates’ saying the same, and 14 percent of Black Americans expressing regret.”
If these numbers are accurate, it suggests that Trump would beat Biden if the presidential election were held again today. Biden’s approval numbers continue to decline. Only 31% of Americans think the U.S. is on the right track.
