The Gateway Pundit recently reminded its readers that in 2017, Facebook purged many of the most popular pro-Trump pages. Around this time, the Soros-funded organization Media Matters revealed it had access to raw data from Big Tech.
These included Facebook, Twitter, and Google, but Facebook in particular was revealed to have been in a dialogue with Media Matters regarding the topic of “fake news”. Shortly after, the censorship began. Similarly, Google revised its terms of service to limit which websites could use its ad network.
Many conservatives think this is evidence that the mainstream media and Big Tech are conspiring with each other to censor and eliminate dissent from their preferred narratives. Others think they’re being responsible by removing disinformation. What’s your position?
