Juan Manuel Montes Bojorquez, who gained notoriety as the first person protected by DACA to have been deported, was recently arrested. Montes had initially sued the Trump administration because he argued he was illegally deported since the DACA program protected him. He later dropped the lawsuit when Homeland Security made it known that he has returned to Mexico voluntarily.

Montes was witnessed by Assistant Chief Patrol Agent David S. Kim and re-arrested for trying to enter the Unites States. The funny part to all this is that this was the second time this year that Montes had pulled this stunt.

Kim said, “Our agents witnessed and arrested Mr. Bojorquez making an illegal entry into the United States for the second time this year. Border Patrol Agents will always stop, detain, and arrest anyone making an illegal entry into the country irrespective of their immigration or citizenship status.”
