Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, has yet again been criticized by CNN. This time, it was for mocking Alicia Machado; but we have unravelled CNN’s own hypocrisy about it.

In a lowly attempt to bring Trump down, CNN interviewed Machado, the former Miss Universe, and brought up the incident from all those years ago, where Trump allegedly called Machado “Miss Piggy”.

“He was really aggressive. He was really rude.” Machado told CNN.

Here’s the twist: As reported by The Gateway Pundit, the former Miss Universe was mocked by the network itself back in the year 1997, and very bluntly so. CNN correspondent Jeanne Moos then wrote,

“As her universe expanded, so did she, putting on 60 pounds.”

That is pretty harsh by CNN; and they didn’t stop there. The article continued to ridicule her and said,

“Former Miss Venezuela went from 188 pounds to — well — a number that kept growing like the size of a fish that got away,”

Seems like this is all CNN is capable of doing: criticizing others for the same crimes they commit. And no one wants to pay heed to these degrading words, what they do want, instead, is to promote everything and anything that may have the slightest potential of going against the Republican presidential nominee.

In her interview with CNN, Machado continued,

“That is the story that I need to share with my community. We cannot accept no more insults for my Latin community. No more insults for the women. I know very well Mr. Trump and I can see the same person that I met 20 years ago.”

Would that particular person admit to eating too much under pressure? Don’t think so. In fact, Trump defended her against critics who shamed her for weight-gain.

Kellyanne Conway, Trump’s campaign manager spoke about it, saying Machado’s extreme weight gain was in fact, a breach of contract.

If Trump is guilty, which he may very well not be, so are many others who said worse things about her. Why are not those people being pointed out by CNN?
