New York City has ordered its former governor Andrew Cuomo to return the $5.1 million he received as part of a book deal. The subject of the book was leadership during the pandemic.
The order came after the New York Joint Commission on Public Ethics decided he’d violated a commitment not to use state resources or government employees to put together the book.
