For the past several years, the United States has used armed drones to systematically take out the leadership of various terrorist organizations around the world.
These incredible pieces of technology have allowed the American military to bring the hurt down on terror organizations while not putting American lives in jeopardy.
Now, it appears that the United States may be holding back drone strikes in one key area, The Daily Caller reported.
On Monday, NBC News reported that it was possible that the United States military could start conducting drone strikes against Islamic State group-affiliated terrorists in the Philippines.
However a “a senior defense official” pushed back on that when talking to The Daily Caller, claiming that no such plan was going to be enacted in the near future.
