Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) suggested to Fox News that the US should postpone it’s joint military exercises with South Korea until tension with North Korea has calmed.

Rand stated, “I think they have in good faith stopped their testing, so far as we can tell. Now, maybe because they’ve already completed all their testing, but they’ve at least agreed to stop their nuclear testing. I think not doing military exercises would actually be a show of good faith on our part. It doesn’t change anything permanently, but delaying that until after talks, I think would be a good idea.”
