Former Washington Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann was interviewed by TMZ Sports and was asked if he thinks the Redskins should change their name due to recent backlash which is claiming that name is racist and insensitive.
“I’ve talked to a lot of Native Americans in this country. They seem to be OK with the name ‘The Redskins,’” Theismann told TMZ Sports. “We try and honor them every day and do the best we can to represent the nations that are out there.”
